Varda Burstyn is the principal at Canary Consultants, with thirty years of experience in both environmental and health fields. She is an accomplished communications expert, strategist and public policy consultant. Varda puts this expertise at the service of non-profits, businesses and government.
Depending on the project, Varda works with a network of other consultants with expertise in fields ranging from medical and health research, to health administration and government relations, to green housing and safe building.
In the last ten years, Varda has developed exceptional depth in the emerging area of environmental and chemical sensitivities. These can – and do — cause tremendous suffering, economic hardship and disability. And they are spreading rapidly among Canadians. This is a deeply disturbing trend that requires multi-faceted and timely government response.
